Hey wassup!
I'M DONOVAN
Donovan James Comeaux, a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, entered the world on May 17, 1995, to proud parents Robin and Donald Lee Comeaux, Jr. As the eldest sibling among three, Donovan embraced his leadership role early on. Growing up in Calcasieu Parish, he found his educational cornerstone at LaGrange High School, where he not only excelled academically but also immersed himself in a plethora of extracurricular activities that would shape his future.
During his formative years at LaGrange, Donovan discovered his affinity for the arts, particularly in photography. At the tender age of 14, he embarked on a journey to master his craft, eventually founding Fleur de Lis Photography at the age of 16. What began as a passion project evolved into Fleur de Lis Visual Imagery, a multifaceted enterprise offering a spectrum of digital and graphic services to the local community. Donovan's commitment to delivering exceptional quality at accessible prices has been the hallmark of his business ethos.
Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Donovan is deeply committed to community service. He has spearheaded initiatives aimed at combating child and dating abuse, leveraging his platform to raise awareness and effect change. His involvement with Abraham’s Tent and advocacy for the homeless underscores his dedication to humanitarian causes.

Recognizing the transformative power of education, Donovan has devoted his time to mentoring and empowering youth. From conducting workshops on digital graphics to serving as a motivational speaker, he is passionate about equipping the next generation with the skills they need to thrive academically and professionally. His unwavering support for his alma mater, LaGrange High School, extends to active participation in alumni affairs and sponsorship of extracurricular activities such as the Washington Marion Speech & Debate team and KBWM, Washington Marion Student Radio.

In the wake of adversity, including the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and devastating hurricanes, Donovan answered the call to serve his community once again. Playing a pivotal role in the establishment of the Cheniere Energy Boys and Girls Club, he assumed the position of Program Lead, leveraging his expertise to nurture and uplift the younger generation.

Balancing his roles as an assistant theater director, program lead, and entrepreneur, Donovan remains steadfast in his pursuit of personal and professional growth. Crowned Mr. Black Calcasieu Parish in 2018 and subsequently named Mr. Black Louisiana in the same year, he has garnered recognition for his outstanding contributions to his community.

Currently pursuing a degree in Family & Child Studies, Donovan is committed to furthering his knowledge and expertise to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Donovan James Comeaux epitomizes resilience, compassion, and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on his community and beyond through his unwavering commitment to service and excellence.
